Rehabilitation

Prescriptive stretching and exercise promotion are also provided to assist with muscle and ligament strengthening and to help increase flexibility and range of joint motion

In some cases an injured joint or tissue structure may require support by specialised adhesive taping techniques.

Equipment loan

Rehabilitation equipment can be loaned or purchased by our patients in order to facilitate home exercise and rehabilitation programmes. This equipment comprises of such items as, wobble cushions, back stabilisers, hand grippers, ankle and wrist weights, and lightweight dumbbells. A small fee is made per week per equipment item

TENS machines which are battery operated and supplied with disposable electrodes can also be loaned to our patients. These small compact machines can be greatly beneficial in helping the patient to manage their pain through electrophysiology. A small fee is made per week per TENS machine and per each packet of disposable electrodes.
